My Story
My Scentsy story began in October 2007 when my childrens piano teacher asked me to host a Scentsy party. I did not know anything about Scentsy and I had never used their products before. She brought me a hostess packet and I began to read through the information to prepare for my party. Immediately impressed with how simple the product line was, I began to think maybe this was something I could do. If I could just earn $700-800 a month to replace what I was making cleaning houses, that would be fabulous!!! Wouldn't it?? I decided to become a Scentsy consultant...thinking it is October and people do this kind of thing this time of year. I'll do it until Christmas, earn some Christmas cash and then I will probably quit. Well, by the time I got to Christmas there was no way I was going to quit!! I was having a great time. People's response to Scentsy blew me away. They absolutely loved it!! And I was loving it too. Scentsy was providing a way for me to be able to quit cleaning other people's houses. By the end of February 2008, just 4 1/2 months after beginning my Scentsy journey, I was able to do just that...I was completely done cleaning other people's houses. I promoted to Director that month and had built a team of 32 people. Our group has now grown to include consultants from all across the United States. Scentsy allows me to be at home with my family. I am so thankful that the Scentsy opportunity was shared with me! I love Scentsy...the company, the high quality products, the people and how it has blessed my family!
